| When the dust settles, a profound and shocking silence may prevail amongst the crowd. If the crowd has been quieted, it is because they believe that they have been witness to an epiphany, but their struggling and questioning minds do not deal with the pain for very long. They resign in defeat to ease the pain, fully aware that, for them (the crowd), it is too late. The victors that have emerged out of this event (both species of man and horse) have willingly endured the pain, probably more than one time. Both species share a common motivation that is instilled in them at birth. For them, mere survival is not a compelling force as it is with the crowd. They (the victors) will expend more energy than they seem to possess, they will dig where there seems to be nothing, and they will find what they are looking for. They will cross the finish line alone and in front. They own the wind. They thrive in the wind. The wind is their home. They are... The CHROMABREDS. |
